4 Tips for Flexibility

Developing and maintaining flexibility are key elements of any fitness, dance, and yoga routine.  Here are some flexibility tips to try. 
  1. Stretch after a warm shower or bath. We're more relaxed and so are our muscles. 
  2. Practice your splits every day for at least 30 seconds on each side. Go as far as you can go (don't hurt yourself!)
  3. Come up with a stretching routine.  Make it something you can remember and do it every day. 
  4. Warm up before you stretch. Running in place. Jumping Jacks. Dancing.
