Developing and maintaining flexibility are key elements of any fitness, dance, and yoga routine. Here are some flexibility tips to try.
- Stretch after a warm shower or bath. We're more relaxed and so are our muscles.
- Practice your splits every day for at least 30 seconds on each side. Go as far as you can go (don't hurt yourself!)
- Come up with a stretching routine. Make it something you can remember and do it every day.
- Warm up before you stretch. Running in place. Jumping Jacks. Dancing.
